Wheel arches
Hi all, just received a new set of stornoway grey wheel arches to replace the black ones. I just wondered if those that had done this also replaced the corner front bumper piece or left it black. I had a look at some at my local dealers and the were all colour coded as well. looked through some pictures on this site and cant see any with the black left on. Thanks Chris.

Chris,
From what I have seen they have replaced them all, including the bumper bits - cant think who has done it last, going off to search, from memory it was a stornoway colour?

I'd say look at 'adam's gallery as he has a silver one with color coded arches but black bumpers remaining but he has NO photos at all - pretty poor for an IT guy Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Steve - I am not IT - I wish I was - I must learn how to post photo's
However -, yep, I've got coloured arches, all other bits natural plastic - when the plastic is clean, looks a good contrast IMO

SN, Thanks for that picture I think I will have to get some corner bumpers aswell. I would imagine it looks good in silver but not quite right in grey.
DG. I put o9 as it was registered in jan 09 but after reading this forum I realise there was a facelift version and mine must be the last of the earlier ones. Thanks Chris.

The front bumper is one piece - the corner bits are just masked off during the painting process.
What I mean is that you can't buy or replace just the corner pieces 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

PaulP, your right I just had a look . Is it possible to have the bumper sprayed, as where its black its a rough finish.
