Phoned and still can be taken out.
Was advise that if someone had taken out a Finest policy then they would not have to step the policy down to Standard once the vehicle was over 6 years old or had done 60,000 miles.
Just phoned them & asked what happens on renewal if over 60k and was told would have to go down a level!

I am only just over 50K miles and only 3.5 months until renewal, so will make it for another year on the finest .

I phoned them again this afternoon, asking for a quote. NO PROBLEM with it this time.
TESCO FINEST WARRANTY £419 done, phew!!!!!!!!!!
Must have been an idiot on the phone first time. I asked if they did 4x4, and was told not if over 3500cc or Porkers, etc... They explained their computer would not quote for the vehicle if it was excluded, so it would not be a problem. Documents will be receieved in 7 to 10 days.
Sorry for causing any consternation, and thank you to DSL's for his comments, otherwise I would not have rung them again.

I did mine via the internet on the 21st, maybe they had a run on the warranty and decided some major problem was about to occur with D3's
