Are you sure?
They should have placed a filter in the brake vacuum assembly, you should now have some extra pipework on the hoses to the left of the engine as they enter the plastic box where the brake servo is?

On asking at service reception, i was told nothing needed. Now that i went and looked myself, i spot a nice shiny vacuum hose coming out the servo, spare battery box. ATB

I asked what they did and they said it was just to fit the filter as we had not suffered the problem, I only know what it looks like as I have a split charge and was curious if they removed the battery or not to do the work and it all looks intact but the extra pipework was not in the sponge properly as the 35mm^2 cable was in the way so I made some adjustments to my satisfaction

When this thread was started DG strongly recommend one should wait for official contact.
I have, as yet, heard nothing, nor am I experiencing any problems should I still continue to wait patiently - the first service is due at the end of March.

I have a printout from a friendly dealer and it states I'm due both updates but as yet still no letter. Will wait till the end of the month then a polite phonecall to LRCC. HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Just picked mine up after having P017 done, dont think much was done as the vacuum pump and servo was replaced just before the warranty ran out. The thing is that on the way home the dsc light has started flashing on what seems to be long sweeping left hand bends, cant get it to happen on right hand bends or at slow speeds. I ve never seen this light come on even driving in the snow. Has anyone else had anything like this after having P017 done?

Sounds like the steering position sensor is out. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

My car is in a Westover LR today for a few bits to be looked at under warranty. I asked about the brake servo recall and was told I was not affected. I find this strange as according to the bulletin all vehicles in the range LA367110 – LA513325 need to have it done and my VIN ends 4901XX. That certainly seems to be in the range.
