Unless you are showing systems of this, as previously discussed on other parts of the forum, please wait for your local dealer or LR to contact you for this job.
LR are sending paperwork to the dealers as we speak and then batches of letters to owners in 2,500 per week for 22 weeks so you will get done.
Initial stocks for dealers is being rolled out so we can have some stock on the shelves to cope with the odd but it will be needed to be looked after by the local dealers to avoid real confusionTLO has left the building.......

Thanks Nick, but as you know, my local dealers are utter tosh, they'll definately spill brake fluid all over my paintwork, and as I say my vehicle is not in the range so will I actually ever get this letter?
Naive question probably, but as I bought my D3 through a non-franchised dealer, would LR know where I am? I've had warranty work done at my local LR dealer, so would my VIN and contact details be picked up from that?
Yep
VOSA involved in this recall, so everyone should get contactedTLO has left the building.......

Sorry to be pedantic Nick but can you clarify..... if my vehicle is prior to the quoted VIN no range for this recall, yet has the symptoms of this problem, will I be contacted at all over this matter? Cheers, Dave.

Mine is a 06 model, but just outside the range. Did the parts change then during this short period ?

If you run your VIN through the wiki, it should help you identify exactly what you have I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I would still call LR Customer Service or whatever it's called in the UK....
Get them to check the 'owner' details on their own system as when I called two weeks ago (to LR Spain), they still had the vehicle as 'belonging' to the dealer (I bought it as an ex-demo over two years ago)...

I had my Vac pipe changed at Shukers last Tuesday, The service manager said the part department must have got wind of this as they where building a stock up.

Er ..hello.... What does the first post say ? Wait until you have formal notification 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Can you please explain how I decipher the VIN number..........I can't make sense of mine compared to the sequence on the Recall notices....

LOL, Dave just told me you were in and had the pipe changed as yours had oil in it
Apparently, they are rolling this out in stages and LR will write to everyone when its their turn to have the work carried out.
Unless you have an actual issue (like above), its best to wait.
