Arm rests
Hi all. Im going to have a pair of arm rests fitted to my tdv6 base model next week. They are ajustable to. Im really looking forward to them as i know they will enhance the pleasure of driving the d3. I have noticed the odd thread about arm rests (or rather the lack of them) so when they are in i will take pics to show everyone and pass over the name and number of the chap. if there was just one thing that I could say makes my SE better than my old S on long runs - I would say Arm Rests - good move, you'll appreciate it Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Will be interesting to see if anyone will do this on a D4 now that they have made the HSE the only one with arm rests

Thought there would be some interest with this thread. Tanters, the bloke doing the job said he would have to stripe down the back rest and weld something on. So the bit in your photo must be what he means. He thought about 3 hours or so for the pair whitch sounds pretty quick but he is a profesional upholster'er. D3 bonatti grey

£100 a seat seems reasonable - he's got to strip down the seat, add (I assume) around £30 of parts on each seat and then put it all back togetherSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
