I went to a stealer to have a look at the D4 and maybe to help decide on a colour. Sadly, the only D4s there were in Silver, Black or Grey - non of the more unusual colours - so not much help there.
But talking about spec, I said I was thinking of a GS + leather, but presumed that would be a factory order. He said they could probably do it from stock - by taking a standard GS and have the leather retro-fitted on site, before hand over. He also said this is actually cheaper than paying for the upgrade from LR.
Does anyone know anything about this - or who does it? I'm based quite near Solihull D4 XS MY12 Galway

A couple of weeks ago there was a full set of Genuine LR leather seat covers to re-appolster your seats. It had a number of pictures and they looked the real deal. . .you just had to take your old seats to bits, remove the old covers and put the new covers on. . .

oh and they sold for £500 Still miss my D3

I had a D3 re-trimmed by 'Seat Surgeons' they did a fantastic job, looked as per factory
As long as you stick to an OE colour scheme it looks as good as factory fit. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
