Disco 4 on its way
Well, my stint with the RRsport was short lived. With the warranty having come and gone it started giving me a few headaches, not to mention been stolen and recovered classy neighborhood i live in!
Always loved my Disco 3 and with an extra sproggy around to transport it seemed the obvious choice to go back to the Disco.
Hopefully it will be with me in 2 weeks, Ipanema sand xs with almond/nutmeg interior. Can't wait.... Will be sure to post some pics as soon as she arrives.

Delays, delays, delays
Well delivery date has come and gone and apparantly the Disco is still sitting on a transporter somewhere. Perhaps they come across from a training ground in Africa nowadays, but this is why i dont like getting a new car.
I don't have enough patience!!!
Well, hopefully I will get to hear some positive news next week? we live in hope.

I think they're all heading south!
Saw 3 transporters full parked just off A34 near Abingdon yesterday
All D4's in various colours but mostly black

Delays are common. I bought my first D3 back in 2005. I had to wait 10 weeks for it. Just as delivery was due they said it was delayed because the transporter had rolled over and written off quite a few D3's it was carrying, mine included. I was informed that it would be replaced asap
Turns out the Edinburgh dealer I was dealing with were talking pants and mine arrived on time. The crashed transporter was carrying the press vehicles.
I hope you get it soon

Back then it was Rossleigh down nr Portobello, who are now Stratstone. Needless to say their aftercare has meant that I have not used their services since early 2006.

LOL, what a co incidence. I have just moved from pentland( they lost their main service man about 6 months ago and the sales guy I have bought 5 cars from also got booted, which lead to their service going up!!
Just sold my rangie to stratstone and they have taken over the car deal for me. Guy there seems to be harassing the boys down south daily, so lets hope he gets me to stay with Stratstone.

So near and yet so far! As of Friday morning, mine (which was coming by end of the week, Friday, Monday, Thursday or Friday...) is "on a lorry (along with 3 others that I waiting for) but they do not have a driver as at yet." Remembering how far Gaydon is (not!) from Oxford, you'd think they'd drive us up there, arrange a nice little site tour then let us drive away... Still, it's their own fault they're going to get a very muddy trade-in!

Perhaps side line jobs as "lorry" or "transporter" drivers should be taken up by all Disco owners so we can get our cars as soon as they fall off the production line.
Hopefully this week is the week as the Mrs is getting tired of hearing reviews and tests on youtube

Well, the transporter has a:
1.Driver-check
2.Petrol in-check
3.15 Landies- check
4.1x ipanema sand disco xs-check
5.Directions to Edinburgh- bloody hope so
6.Impatient customer- dbl dbl check
The suspense is killing ME!!! Lets hope I get a call from the dealer today otherwise I might just go and camp outside their door
