CD400 radio wont switch on - Sorted
I have an 05 TDV6 which despite a motorway run 2 weeks ago came up with a "Low voltage" message on the radio on Friday. I tried to start the car and then got a message something like "No source detected" on the radio unit and it now wont switch on. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may help get it going again. The car has been charged and is running fine except no radio. Have done a search but can't find anything similar. Many thanks for any suggestions, I did phone the dealers but he had no idea and as service centre not open couldn't help.

Pull the fuse in the CJB behind the glove box and leave it a while then re-insert it, that should reset is fine. Have had to do that a few times myself LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Just spoke to service dept. and they say it HAS to be charged for 24hours ( trickle charge ) to put battery back to 100% before radio will work again, as the system shuts down non-essential services????
Will give it a go
ETA: Disconnected battery to take out to charge - couldn't get it out. Reconnect to turn D3 round on drive. Radio comes on when started . Obviously fuse out wasn't quite enough to get the system to reset - and not everyone in the service centre knows about electrics
