It's good to see the first 'real world' D4 videos coming out.
Great car! I'm still a bit skeptic about those wheels, but I'll probably get to like them soon...

like the redesigned bumper gets new anti-drag lips underneath that help to reduce aerodynamic lift at the front end at higher speeds.
At least we now know that they're not there to prevent water splash over the bonnet.
The only other thing that strikes me as odd is that the press car has MT/Rs fitted.....I thought that press cars were also sent for review with factory-fit tyres
promitheus - despite not liking such large wheels and small tyres on 4x4s, I like the 19" split-Vs on this one....they look very nice - especially fitted with decent tyres 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Only the LRE support vehicles have MTR's. All the press vehicles are totally standard with road tyres on, even for the off road bits!Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

been to see the D4 now
Looks better in the flesh than I expected.
Interior is lovely even on GS but not enough cuddies for the amount of phones, blackberrys and cameras that normally travel with us. Front lights look good when turned off and the bumper is smart. Grille and side vents look cheap though. Back lights and excessive badging still look like Halfords I think though They have faired in teh parking sensors at least though. looks even busier under the bonnet, seems to be a lot of cooling at the front of the engine bay. 3.0 is very quiet outside, much less rumbly than mine but with more turbo noise.
I will have one one day!!!!
What was rather obvious though is that the RRS and D4 in the showroom both had very obviously misfitted interior trim.....the RRS the drivers door trim was unattached at the top so that from outside with the window down you could see all the wiring going to the window switches and the D4 had the front of the cubby box pulled forwards......not hugely inspiring end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

IMHO Never buy any new vehicle until they have been making them for 6 months, by then they know how it goes together.

"Probably the best all round vehicle in the World"
I can live with that.
