I have original tow bar on my D3, installed by certified dealer. If I push to the bar hard left-right it moves a bit. Is this normal? I really moves just a bit but I would expect it to be stable no matter how I hard I push.

mine moves a little as well - it should be fine - but get the dealer to check it if you are concerned Duncan

is it the detachable tow bar?
Mine has a very, very slight movement left/right. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Yes it's detachable. Ok, I'm not the only one who noticed minimum movement. No worries then...
