anyone had a heat shield rattling type noise when turning right sharply, just started doing it today, it came back from the dealer last week after having front bottom ball joints, all for arb bush shim things and 4 wheel alignment done but has been perfect up to today, anyone got any ideas? work to live, not live to work! or work to repair the disco! still puts a smile on your face every time you drive it!

Check if one of the brake backplates on the front wheels is not bent. It could be rubbing on the brake disk.

checked them mate, there all tight, not catching on anything would thought if it was that it would do it all the time, it only specifically does it when turning sharply right, when weight shifting to nearside of the car, sounding like its comung from the front nearside corner, there's no warning lights, just sounds like somthing is loose though. work to live, not live to work! or work to repair the disco! still puts a smile on your face every time you drive it!

sorry gareth, stand corrected, it was the brake disc back plate that was bent touching the disc, took it back to the dealers, after it only started doing it after they had it last doing the bottom all joints, they appologised and put it right, they even greased the lock stops up for me on the steering and valeted the car for free, couldn't beleive it, they did sa they was quiet though. work to live, not live to work! or work to repair the disco! still puts a smile on your face every time you drive it!
