Replacing the stock subwoofer to the D3
Hi all,
i had a look at a lot of threads before posting this, but have no clear idea/response.
i was wondering if i can upgrade my current stock subwoofer( in the lower tailgate) to an aftermarket shallow sub? is it possible that it can be a straight swap? i dont really want to sacrifice boot space to add a sub box or an amp.
has anyone done this before?
thanks all for your time in reading this.
thank you

I replied to another thread about Bass from the HK system, and was shot down for being 'the wrong audience'!
I'll try again!
I like my music in the car, and I find the bass to be more than adequate. Any more bass and the trim will all fall off. Richard

I'm finding that the cabin speakers need more attention....ar at least the rattles they provide!
Not heard distortion from standard sub, but others distort/rattle etc first.
