Brand New D4 or FFRR TDV8 Used
Having a browse at a few local dealer websites I saw a number of 08/58 plate FFRR's.
I am not (unfortunately) in a position to buy either a TDV8 RR or a D4, but I wondered what those who were taking a serious look at throwing £40 - £45k at a D4 thought, as if i were in a position, I am afraid my loyalty to a D3/D4 would be going to Range Rover D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Got to agree with you, the FFRR TDV8 would be getting a serious look. I had a look at ones when I recently changed my D3, but very high milage ones for the money I was prepared to pay compared to the D3 I bought.

For those who need the 7 seats, there's no argument. But for others ......Regards,

spooky - I think that is exactly the deciding factor as long as you don't mind the loss of warranty time for an old FFRR - but even that can be offset with a Tesco WarrantySteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

If you need 7 seats that much don't JE do a 7 seat conversion ?? Though being a rear facing one it's not ideal....D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

We are talking about a brand new D4. Nobody will have abused it offroad plus a lot of newer, more recent technology. So it's the D4 for me!
