How many times can you go into off road mode
I've just had a new compressor fitted and I can only do it twice before I get the "Suspension raising slowly message "
I'm sure I could do at least 4 times on the old one . Is there maybe an option to set the compressor cut off pressure with the test book ?

What do you mean by off road mode? The terrain response system will raise the suspension for you but only in certain programmes, so depending on the programme you select depends on the suspension. Although \i get the impression you mean something else?D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Heine,
do you mean from access to offroad mode or from normal to offroad mode.
when I first got my D3 i did a lane in wales where we had to keep stopping to open and close gates. I went from offroad to access (so mrsdiscodunc could get in and out easily) then back to offroad. If i did this a couple of times I would get the message that said compressor was too hot and had to wait for it to cool down.Duncan

From normal to off road mode . I used to be able to do 3 full cycles i.e. from access to off road - now it battles to do one. But I was more concerned with normal (std) mode to off road , as this is something that happens quite a lot while overlanding

Just tried it on my V8 petrol, I did it 4 times with no problems or any error messages.
Ambient temp 40C.
I would have tried for more but like DSL, don't want to push my luck and break something.

It could be temperature related, as in the ambient / starting temperature. If it starts lower, the compressor will work for longer giving more re charges, In addition if the starting pressure in the tank happes to be higher when the test is started it will also improve the number of cycles.
Just my two bobs worth.

After the second attempt to raise the suspension raises progressively more slowly. After the 3rd the waring message appears. This is on a 58 plate HSE, I don't reacll the same thing with an earlier model but that may just be because I never checked.D4 SDV6 XS Orkney Grey
