Retractable load guards???

I'm considering replacing my van (VW Transporter T5) for a Disco3. It would be used as both a family car and a van, so I would be looking for a quick and easy method of protecting the front seats from the rear cargo area - both the boot and when all the seats down. Therefore I'm looking for a retractable load guard (or maybe an easily removable fixed metal mesh) that would mounted behind the 2nd row seats and another that would mount behind the front seats when all the cargo area is used. These would ideally be a fabric mesh type of roller blind, the same as you get in the old Mercedes estates or BMW estates, which would mount on the floor and you slot the top of the roller mesh in clips in the roof. Or maybe two easily removable wire mesh panels would do the job, but then these aren't so easy to store.
Does anyone know if such a product exists or know of any manufacturers that could make these?
I want something better than a dog guard (i.e. smaller mesh) so it would stop tools and small items flying forward.

Does anyone one have the LR cargo barrier (item VUB501170)?
Does this just fit behind the 2nd row seats? How easy it is to remove (when you want to use the 3rd row seats)? Does anyone have a picture of it in place that they could send me?

I don't have one currently but will be getting one, currently undecided whether to get the full LR one or the top half only one that Paddocks are selling

I have the LR one in mine, it's very sturdy and not too tricky to whip in and out once you've done it a few times Shocked but the way it's designed does mean you lose a fair bit of boot space and it has to come out if you've anything of length to get in there. that paddocks one looks like a more flexible option to me.
 and theeeeennn......???

I have just fitted one tonight, took 40 minutes including a cup of tea and a smoke, 8 thumb bolts and its out. It's getting dark now but I will take some pics at the weekend. My dealer wanted £227 to supply and fit, the cargo barrier is £160 so its definately worth doing yourself.

Will be very interested in some pics and to see how much space you loose.
I'll be using my D3 for work, so the rear will be stacked up to the roof. Therefore, I want all the space that is available. I've also got to come up with a way of protecting the sides, glass etc. Still, I've got to get a D3 first!! Anyone want a RRS?

I have bought and fitted a LR cargo barrier which is a well built item, but a bit over engineered if anyone just wants a dog guard. It does go in and out in 5 minutes or so, but it helps to have a second pair of hands to lift it out through the back passenger doors to save marking your interior.

Having just looked at the paddocks site their dog guard looks like a much better solution as you can still carry long items without removing it, and you may still be able to use the third row seats as well.

The pics are now in my gallery, I think it took longer to set up my gallery than to fit the cargo barrier.
