....no, not to my knowledge, and nor would one expect any claims. Most modern cars are well corrosion protected for a reasonable period. However, it intrigues  me that Land Rover need to inspect our vehicle at each service and validate the extended corrosion warranty in the service record. There can be only be one (or both) of two reasons for this. Either it is viewed that L.R's are not well protected, therefore the inspections, or, it is a ploy to encourage the return of the vehicle for dealer service. Either way, it's not a good look!  MY07 D3, TDV6S; Bull Bar, Cooper S/T's, Dual Battery, UHF, GPS; 03 D2, 94 D1, both departed & 1950 S1 80" going strong. 06 Astra CDX Coupe.

Well.. the alloys are showing corrosion on all 4!
Going to Australs tomorrow for a new EPB so will show them.

Mark, I don't think the corrision warranty is much chop.
If you read the fine print it only covers perforation. Thus, the corrosion has to be that bad that a hole has appeared before they'll cover it.
Give it a go, though. You never know your luck! Have a nice day!

be a worry if they refused to rectify corrosion on alloys until there was a perforation! Bit like saying they won't repair the brakes until they fail.
You might need to leave a note in your will for the executor to follow them up;
"If I'm dead because the alloys failed at 110km/hr can you please head into Austral and get a new set?"
