I had my car valued for curiosity in March by webuyanycar. They offered £19,470
They approached me last week and increased their offer to £21,765 allowing for additional 5k of mileage!
First time I have had a car that increased in value,  although only any use if I sell it!
Was wondering if I could use this to my advantage in any way? I fancy a D4, but was going to wait for 12 months and get a nearly new example, ex LR car etc, so usually a big saving off list, but of course by that time, the current high interest in D3 will probably have disappeared so D3 will be worth considerably less I am guessing.
Other than banking the money, and renting an alternative for a short while, which seems pointless for the hassle and real benefit which I imagine will be low because discounts on D4 will be hard to come by, so will just end up losing any D3 gains on big D4 depreciation.
Any thoughts?

I recently ran my A4 S-line through We Buy any Car and they also increased their offer at a later date. I managed to get over £1500 more though, selling it private, so i would always try private sale first as there is obviously high demand at the moment, as I was also bombarded with calls from traders.
