Wtd: Towbar drop plate countersunk bolts/nuts (4)
As the title suggests I'm looking to find some unused countersunk bolts/nuts for the drop plate on the fixed tow hitch. Has anyone got these lying around who could be persuaded to part with them? To buy them from LR it is necessary to buy the 'bolt kit' consisting of these 4 bolts/nuts and the two towball mounting bolts. 6 bolts - for you sir, a bargain at..............£32
If no originals are around anyone have ideas where they could be sourced from a independent retailer?

i managed to get quite a few LR bolts, countersunk, security etc
got the sliding floor countersunk bolts for about £1 - the service kit from LR was around £30 !!Duncan

got all 4 and the drop plate in the garage. Was fitted by the dealer, and taken off by me when I got home, so technically "used" as it was fitted, but never used, if that makes sense.
Bit heavy - and you're a bit far away, being ooopp norf.

Tapered Bolt itself is:
50mm long (overall)
40mm thread length
looks like 15 or 16mm diam
across the flat of the head is 30mm
The nut is a nyloc, with a built in flange (washer).

These look likely - EDIT: except as noted by hensoni they are self coloured which are not the best.

These are readily available from any engineering supply company ie, Toolcom, Engineering Agencies, Clarik, Partco etc etc.

but don't get SC grade - they don't have enough corrosion resistance. It's a horrible environmental location back there, BZP is fine.Club missing my D3
