Finally got rid of that god awful Orange and as you can see that silver bit at the bottom of the light is now black and matches the colour of the car.
My Orange bits came out in a oner ( not sure how you guys are leaving a vertical Orange strip in there), only 4 screws were Philips the other 8 were Torx.

Just ordered me bulbs, should be in tomorrow, just got to find me stripper and decide wether to go nude or leave the little strip in as others have hmmmmm decisions

De-Tango now all finished.
Had to put temporary orange bulbs in till me silver ones arrive,
On the whole well pleased and its a piece of p*** job to do really, it only took me 20 mins to seperate, and de-tango the second unit then about 10 mins to stick lens back on

Did this this morning. Really easy mod. Used a heat gun. First one took longer but I breezed thought the second one. I kept the orange reflector. Thanks to Very Disco for the pioneering work! Will post up pics.2007 XS, Leather Auto - Stornoway Grey
