Those "Silvatec" BU582 bulbs are the same ones as the first set that I bought for mine, I found they didn't fit properly though, I had to hack them about and put some blobs of solder onto the wires to get them to connect, even then they were a bit "iffy".
The type used in the D3 are 3156 and the base is different to the BU582.Clive
Cant say i had the same experience TBH - ok had to take off some additional lumps on the insert to get a good fit into the holder but you have to do that with the others anyway . No issues with the connections.......
Oh well you takes yer pick of whats on offer i guess

Finally I went for it. Preheated the oven to 80°c and baked the lights for 7 min . It went well and came rather quickly apart . I would recommend a second hand, make's it a lot easier.
If it's hard to pull apart it needs more heating. It cools down fast so you need to be rather quick....but still go slowly...don't brake anything
Be careful not to let the lights touch the hot oven, put something like oven gloves under the lights on the shelf at the same time as you put the lights in the oven.
The orange bit came out easy.
Would not have done this without this post, thank you all
