Unexpected and unacceptable delay!!!
Just learned from my dealer that my long awaited (order placed beginning of December last year) TDV6 HSE will not be delivered during the week 9 (end of February), but is delayed (about a month) without any explanation…. Hard to swallow
It comes after the colour got changed without information from LR…
Must say I am slightly upset

Mine also got delayed a month - although the dealer did tell me that this was due to the specification being exactly that of an '06MY vehicle so i'd save a bit of cash I did get my choice of colour though

Actually I am f@ç%& angry, but being French speaking I felt that I should show some restrain...
I have ordered mine in mid-January and initially got an estimated delivery date of early April. Now I received an email from the dealer that "due to production issues" delivery was re-scheduled to mid-May. (The car will arrive to the continent early April, dunno what will they do with it for 6 or 7 weeks...)TDV6 HSE Java Black, auto, difflock, fridge, winter, 7-seater, PDC, privacy, AHL, sunroof - 3rd row fixed

Apparently the production of the TDV6 engine cannot match the demand for the production of LR3 and RRS.... but it does not make me feel better to know it!!!!!

i hv ordered mine end of ferbury 2005 and took delivery 20th of october
2005( 8 monthes !!!), being told tht there was huge demand of disel engines. i was ''lucky'' though as car was my06 due to this delay.

Sad story for the Swiss customers! Who are BTW mostly ordering expensive high spec vehicles

My D3 was ordered in August and did not arrive until January. The options I selected meant a factory order, which explained the long wait. I suspect that those who get their vehicles shortly after putting in the order get pre-ordered vehicles that are kicking around the dealer networks.
Got confirmation that my car was being replaced on the 7th of Feb.
Chose a change of colour
Saw my new one at the dealers today.
A Zermat silver made on the 24th of Jan.

Just learned the truth about the unexpected delay!
Apparently there is a fierce competition between LR European importers and the Swiss one lost its place in the queue! As a result, one month of production dedicated to Switzerland went somewhere else! Amazing, the LR dealer’s world is obviously less friendly than the one of the users!!
Cheers to all, I go back to some remote cavern in the mountains to live as a hermit and forget about this unfair world…

yep ordered my Disco 3 HSE early Feb - told expected delivery mid May... i thought that was bed until I hear about some of you guys
