Hi, I have just come back from a 2000 mile round trip to the Austrian Alps towing a 1500 kg tintent with 4 bikes on the D3 roof together with a load of luggage and 2 kids in the back. Since being back I have noticed that the nearside rear tyre has worn quite badly on the inner edge, has anybody else experienced this and how can it be rectified.
Regards Andy
P.S What an awesome tow car, cruised at between 65 & 70 mph all day long Java Black - Alpaca - Auto - HSE - 2006MY

It needs a 4-wheel alignment.
If air-suspension, get the dealer to set your car in "alignment" mode first. The Bearded Dragon

I had this with both rear tyres when the car was about 2 years old... the bushes and tyres were all replaced under the warranty... although I had to fight to get the tyres replace! As you slide down the banister of life

13aldy13,
The guys are right but there is also a chance that you have the same trouble I had and that was bush settlement. You have the same year D3 as me and there is a TSB for it so check to see if your D3 falls in the DIN range. Mine did and I had the adjustments carried out free and also a new pair of tyres free.
You never know.

13aldy13,
Have been looking for a copy of the original TSB but could only come up with this. Anyone confirm that I have the correct TSB or supply Andy with a copy of the original one.
