Complete Total D3 Re-Spray??
I was just toying with the idea of a complete change of colour.
I wondered how much it would cost and if anyone has done this?
I have recently come back from the States and its a very common practice over there.
Any thoughts.....

A vinyl wrap would be easier, cheaper, no stripping involved, and can be easily changed if you decide you don't like it after a period of time.... Peter, are you drunk? No, I'm just exhaused cos I've been up all night drinking...

The alternative to a respray is a body wrap.
Have you thought of that ?
edit: must type quicker...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Body wrap / vinyl wrap - no, i'd not thought of that.
Any pointers of where to look for quotes or examples?

This is one of the guys from the spanish forum - he had his D3 resprayed in the old Camel Trophy beige. Well....it ended up a bit darker, but I think it looks fantastic.
He said that he got it all done for around 600 euros. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Wow - That certainly is distinctive!
Might not be quite what i had in mind but it's interesting that he had the whole vehicle re-sprayed for €600!

Well i would defintely be interested in a price for a black wrap of my D3.
May be we could try a group purchase.

Wraps definately look interesting.
Possibly interesting link HERE to David Yu's experience wrapping his R35 GTR (owner of the AutoJournals website and regular contributor to evo magazine).
GTR has some fairly complex curves - he seems pretty happy with the results.
