Hi Beam Wire for Bi Xeons

Just a quick query for anyone who has wired their own spotlights. What colour wire is the hi-beam wire and where did you tap into it?

Thanking everyone in advance

Cheers

Go into the left hand loom along the LHF gaurd. I'll need to go under the bonnet to check the colour, so will let you know later, however, if you unplug the connector on the back of the light and use a tester, you'll be able to pick the wire quickly. Use a wire tap conector to tap the main wire and the new switch wire together and snap it closed. Fix the relay to the battery box, and run the light loom behind the grill (best if removed). The switch wire travels along and under the rear of the engibne bay / bonnet line, and pass it into the brake cylinder box. You'll see a gromet on the firewall in there. Use this point to enter the vehicle with the wires. I used a switch that was large enough to clip neatly into the cut out in the bottom dash section under the wheel used as a gate for the manual adjuster for the steering column. Simple as. Good luck

Thanks wopac5, I have run the harness, just wasn't sure if there was something special needed with the bi xeons before I started to play with that connection

Cheers

Best I could see is a green or blue with a sand trace wire. It looks more blue than the green with red trace that's in there. Hope that helps.
