Guys (or gals for that matter),
Can anyone advise me regarding adjusting headlights for driving on the continent. I have read threads in the past stating that you can alter the beam for driving in Europe and the handbook supports this. Today I had a little look, striped out the grill and lights and can't locate the adjustment.
I have a '57' G.S. which is fitted with normal halogen bulbs. Is the adjustment only available on xenon's? Do I have to purchase some of those awful sticky reflectors? If I can avoid it I would prefer not to have them re aligned by L.R. as I have herd you can do, as I intend to travel through England at night on outbound and inbound journeys.
If anyone can comment on L.R. breakdown cover for driving in France, I would also appreciate it. Is the cover sufficient or do I require additional cover for instance A.A. or R.A.C.?
thanks in advance for any info.

Just read the remainder of your thread - LR assistance in France is fine,IMHO could be considered better than UK .
Had to use it several times over the various Landy's I have owned - language not an issue, prompt attention & very efficient follow up until everything sorted. Had a smash once with my D2 and I could not fault the support I got ,not only for the vehicle but for the passengers of the D2 also.
Hope that helps - still looking out those instructions for the headlights
