Hi Kev
The group is leaving Sydney on the 4th July and returning on the 19th July as follows
Heading to Birdsville, then over Big Red into the
Simpson, the trip will travel to Dalhousie Springs, The Painted Desert,
William Creek, Lake Eyre and Maree, before touring through the
Flinders Ranges on our way back to Sydney.
I think there will be more 4WDrivers there that water birds!!
Have to work, but would luv to do the trip. Are you pulling the trailer?
Gavan Swift is leading the RRC trip and you can usually get them on channel 19

Big Kev,
We are heading that way, leaving somewhwre between 1 and 3 July, Heading to Cameron Cnr. Lake Congie, Rig Road and on to Dalhausey Springs, then down to Lake Air and on to Flinders, Have to be home by the 18th.
Some detours may occour due to Warboton Ck,which would take us up to Birdsville, and yes there will be a lot out there but its a big country.
Cheers

FWIW SWMBO and I have the next week off hence we will be wandering a little bit further afield...
We hope to make it to Mungo NP, then back up towards Minindee lakes and along the Darling River Run on the way home.
Our schedule is pretty flexible, so we will see how we go, really just looking forward to getting out of Sydney for a week!
Cheers,
