You did take out an extended warranty with LR, Tesco or someone else didn't you
Sounds like either new turbo or EGR valve(s) required, not likely to be very cheap if using the dealer network I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Hi thanks for your reply.
No i have not taken out a extended warranty with LR.
I did think it might mean a new turbo unit been looking on ebay £900 brand new.
But can it also mean there is something wrong with the EGR valves too? Because it is saying there is two faults.
What are the EGR valves and how much are they to have replaced?
thanks for your help

If the warning is "ENGINE SYSTEM FAULT" and no lights, drives like a dog then it's prob a new turbo, just had that on my 2 cars! Luckily for me both covered by Tesco. EGR fault came up as well but was cured by turbo change.
PS numpty here (me) has just reread post and warning light on should just be EGR valve at couple of hundred pounds, lot cheaper than turbo!

Just been through this on my TDV6 RRS
In the last few months both EGR valves have failed followed by the "Turbo Sensor"
Fortunately for me everything is under warranty but surely the frequency of the same failures across the product range should mean that Landrover should be doing something about it.

Out of interest I wonder how many people who have had EGR or Turbo issues had their cars chipped/remapped?
Just wonder if their is a connection as the only time I had a fault like that was after having a Freelander TD4 re-mapped.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
