Sussing the next extreme mod out.
We dont have an 'Extreme Disco 3/4' bit yet so I have posted this in M & M
Should we do Santa's Challenge this year. I am thinking of removing the front again and the wings this time. This will mean that we can get into those tighter places.

Mount the winch 6" higher and stick the intercooler on the roof should give you better approach angles I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Already on the way The mounts have been made for the rack mounted intercooler Thinking of removing the winch for this event, and use a petrol driven portable. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

might want to check that external winch is permitted, but like your style I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Lots of potential - but it wouldn't be road legal like that, you'd need some sort of wheel arch.
It will have arches was going to throw some plastic/rubber ones off a trailer In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You could also move the engine back some 25 cm, then cut off the first 30 of the chassis and your approach angle will be even better.

If you're building a dune buggy are you getting the Lord Humungous leathers to complete the effect? Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Transgenic tomato anyone?
don't forget the back - needs bobtailing or a tray

I didn't go quite as far, but this did give me much better approach angles in the last comp over here
