4 wheel alignment
I am taking my 08 xs in to the dealer tomorrow to have the alignment done. They are going to charge me £200 is this correct. I am having it done because it is scrubing my front nearside wheel, it doesnt steer shraight and is funny under breaking.

Ask your dealer where they take it for the alignment check, then ask them to put it into 'tight tolerance mode' and take it yourself. You'll save a packet Previously:

My mate had his audi q7 in for the laser wheel allignment at the main dealers. He nearly dropped dead when the bill came to £540 quid.
Other tyre garages do this also allot cheaper. Quick fit yes I dont like dealing with them personally but at least you can see them carrying out the laser allignement whilst you wait allot cheaper than the main dealers.
Not to forget, will the dealers actually carry out the full laser wheel allignemt on all 4 wheels for that price or just the wheel at fault. My bets they only do the laser check on the wheel thats at fault.
good luck

Well I got it done and it does feel better. Not used to all the fuss, used to do my defenders with a tape measure.
