Running cables from Front to Rear

I'm in the process of my DVD/PS2 install and I can't seem to release the cable loom cover that runs from the front footwell to the C pillar lower trim panel.

It looks like it should just slide forward and then lift off.

Anyone got any ideas - done it before? I've got quite a few cables to run and I'm pretty sure I need to remove it.

Thanks

Richard
(And I Can't find anything in the GTR)

Richard,

I think you can look this up in GTR in Workshop Manual under Scuff Plate Trim Panel, in section 501-05 (looks like 9 clips should be removed).

It should just lift straight up, the clips are in the loom tray underneath

Not sure I'll get all my cables under the weather strip?

use a sparkie's 'fish wire' through the cable duct, done it a couple of times and managed to get quite a few cables through, just be careful you don't snag any of the existing wiring - especially the twisted pairs (CANbus Shocked )

Well I got my cables in without removing the loom cover, I did at one point think that the cover my be held down with the same clips as used on the trim panels but i couldn't get them to budge.

Just looking for a Permanent 12V supply now.... please don't suggest the 10forcash way!!! Sad (see other post!)

(I'm not getting any signal but that could be beacuse where we live in Reading Freeview reception is bad)

Thanks

im using the supplied one at the moment ..but its not very good (well it is when stationary ..but useless on the move)

Did look at using the tv ariels fitted in the side glass but worked out very expensive for the amps / tuner box from landrover.

I am proberly gonna try one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...1&rd=1
