New Compressor
Just had a new compressor fitted. WOW what a difference it has made, nicer ride even getting better MPG. Strange but true. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

What were the symptons that caused the change? Were they the normal of the car not rising up and down or were they different to the normally reported faults.POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER

Very noisy, slow operation it struggles to keep the car up when off road. So I took it to Likes they plugged it in and ran some impressive tests on the Land Rover computer. The verdict was 'Its Fooked Sir' In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Wish that my dealer up here was as organised and customer friendly. All i ever get is "well, urm, maybe" and the obligatory shrugging of shoulders. Maybe the technology of the computer has not reached the dark doors of my local dealer. POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER

Twas very impressive A schematic drawing of the system showing the amount of air pressure in each corner ect ect. Not sure exactly what was going on but the nice tecky was able to use his little pen and slide the icon across the screen for each air bag and deflate or inflate it. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Now if you could get one of those put in the car, you could go on a cruise around Hereford with stereo booming bouncing around like some US Drug Lord in his Low Rider RLD Sump Guard & Spare Wheel Protector, 19 GoodYear Wrangler, 17in Maxxis Bighorns

If its anything like my new compressor its gone from being a gentle "ssssss" as it re-levels itself after locking/unlocking to a "PPPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTT"
It made the guy I work with jump the other day... "that sounds like a ing beached whale"!

Welcome to the new compressor club Andrew!
When you took the cover off of mine at the Sunday pub stop on the Pot Noodle Challenge weekend, you will recall that it didn't require any fancy technology for you to diagnose the problem!
