Was there a service bulletin on this?

The little pivot point that the tailgate hatch strut attaches to at the body... Mine backed out and is a bit bent. I seem to recall that someone said it was a known issue you that some of them were not tightened up all the way from factory.

The dealer wants like 200 bucks to fix it? Was there ever a service bulletin on this? Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"

Yes there was, I can't find it on here at the moment. The fixings were not torqued to the right setting and they come loose.

Thanks guys! So if I call the dealer and spit the number at them "LA501-018" should they fix it free of charge? I'm under the extended warranty. Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"
