D3's going on Expeditions |
|
Ive been reading the forum and see that a few members make it away to africa and all over the place...There can't be many fuel stations in the desert so just wondered how it was done...
Do you fit larger fuel tanks to the D3 or just carry jerry cans full of fuel?
If there is a larger tank available where can i buy one and how much,With my D3 towing the trailer all over the UK i would rather use our fuel than fill up on the road

Most villages have fuel available, in remote places it will be dispensed from 45 gallon barrels. We simply fill a few jerry tins as back up. The range on a D3 is about 350 miles when towing. There are fuel tanks that are located where the spare goes. most 4x4 after market suppliers will be able to get you one. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
