Not really a thread for the 'Spotted' section as I didn't see a sticker in the window.
We were following a D4 towing a 4 wheel plant type trailer across the A272 yesterday morning towards Petworth.
The trailer was full of what looked like soil, and if it was soil it was probably on about it's limit weight wise.
I had just said to my eldest sat in the front with me "He's not hanging around with that on the back" as we'd just gone through some of the A272s faster bends, when one of the trailer tyres blew out.
What surprised us was that we were doing about 50mph, had the stereo on and were a 'safe' distance behind, but we heard the 'bang'.
The whole trailer shuddered and lots of dried mud fell off the bottom of it.
The driver pulled over into a layby just a few yards further down the road.
If it was somebody here I apologise for not stopping to help, we were running late to meet somebody over at Gatwick.
Still can't believe we heard the tyre 'go' from inside our D3.
Nasher Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

Can well believe it, seen a racing bike (as in bicycle) front tyre explode from about 25ft away, and that was loud. Scared the rider sh  less as well.

Had a tyre go on my wheelchair once - scared everyone in the restaurant and was a bitch to wheel back to the car ! LOL My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

yep been overtaking on motor way when a Bus tyre decided to let go and the car was also pepper sprayed with what ever was all over it. (stones/road chips ) Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
