Suspension has gone very hard. Looking for some idea's why |
|
Over the last week or so, I’ve noticed that the ride in my D3 has really stiffened up. Going over even ironworks in the road there is a lot of banging and crashing going on, and mainly from the rear end.
Also, I think the auto gearbox has gone to default and “un-learned†my driving style.
Any idea’s ?

Are your balls hanging free?
I mean the steel weights near the rear bumper. Roel

Slightly OT, but last night I looked at the swinging weights and noticed that one was slightly caught on the tow bar electrics. Tidied the cabling up and am very surprised how much of a difference it has made! 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

I get a metallic clunking noise when I go over cattle grids I took it to the dealer and they said its normal I simply cant believe it, going to get LRCC involved. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Hi again
Look under back end of D3......either side of chassis rail at the back just before the bumper cross member. B y great swinging weight each side. Officially called harmonic dampers I beleive. Just make sure they are swinging free since they affect the ride.
