Yup, as CY states, contact 10forcash for all of your needs - I'd recommend a 2nd battery and running the winch off the second battery, not the primary/cranking battery.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Agree, hidden winches are for occasional light use, if you need / want to use it seriously then a 'proper' winch mount is the only way to go - if in doubt, get yourself on a winch training course before commiting to one or the other

TFC, I go driving quite a lot with JF Lux, who likes to get stuck, so maybe we'd better think about a standard winch mount for my car? Is it compatible with front PDC? I also need to confirm date, place, time to meet up in the UK later this month because I'm out of contact from tomorrow for a week. Are you about tomorrow? I'll call.
