I drove to Milton Keynes area yesterday from the South Coast, out of about 10 DS3s only one waved back So if you were the guy travelling on the M25 anti clock wise in a dark DS3 in the Heathrow area at about 10:00 then hello and a big raspberry to the rest
I had a really good run sat at 80 most of the time (not the road works) and averaged 28.5mpg DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Eh Pelyma, I went to Leeds yesterday from near the MK area (knew you were on the way obviously ) and saw at least 5 D3's. No one waved either, not like the old 110 days is it, needed the Queens Royal wave in the window or at least a passenger to keep up with the smiles and waves. Thats it of course! we are so upset no one wants to smile. My mpg worked out at 27.8 at around the same speeds.

No, they wouldn't dare, I was with my Leeds 'truckers', my minders, but they did look at the D3 and virtually dismantled it. Know what they said?:
"thar dount like electrics on f#+#*=/ thing"
"look at bloody wires b'neath it"
"gimme 110 any day even we wata p#-~#_g douwn reet leg in't rain"
"ya canna go ora moors in tha poncy thing with tha lectrics"
See even the old truckers think the electrics are iffy.

NeilR, your the one who failed to wave to me yesterday are you? 8) Lots of D3's in your local dealers forcourt, can't he sell them Can you do something about the speed cameras in Leeds, they are worse than Northamptonshire only they get blown up, cut down, shot or sprayed here.

Ah speed cameras, there are some areas I believe in Leeds, where they set up a Gatso camera and then place the forward facing Truvello one a bit further down the road to get those that have speeded up
A mate has one of those detector things, you know when he is driving in Leeds because it goes beserk! (Mercs have intergrated phone systems ) DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I have a Road Angel it was going through 'hell'. Flashed red and buzzed almost the whole time. I actually try not to speed (cannot in the old 110's), can't afford the fuel in the D3, but it gets a bit much in Leeds. The other area is on the A1 on route to Edinburgh above Newcastle, thats even worse.

I drove to Leicester from Stockport yesterday, down the M6, M6 Toll, M69. Came back up the M1 to Chesterfield then across country. Saw about 5 other D3's all going the other way on the motorway, I always wave (habit from the old 2a), I think a silver one waved back it was northbound on the M6 around J13 at about 08:45. The rest were going too fast.
