4 X 4 Info Screen Thread

Guys words fail me (ask those that know me and it doesn't happen very often)

We start off with a great thread. There are a heck of a lot of us who have Sat Nav but not all the features, 4X4 etc. and there looks to be a way that we can get it to work.

BBS works on a bit of kit that looks like it may be the answer to us all getting a more functions on our D3 for not stupid amounts of money 8)

Wiggs (top man for many things on this forum) sets about trialing the kit to do the job and reporting back on his findings Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Early indications are good and all seems well in the world of improved D3's

Then it all starts Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head

For Censored sake lets get a grip and put all the stupid remarks and digs to one side and let those that are interested and able to get on with the subject in hand and make life better for the rest of us get on with it
I for one am interested in the outcome

Wiggs keep me posted if not on here then pm or mail me

BBS looks like a great bit of kit. I have owned one of your Rovercom lites for 6ish years and still use it on odd ocassions on older vehicles friends and family have

The above are my thoughts and if anyone is offended or annoyed then i am sorry you have wasted 60 seconds of your life reading it

Was going to copy out the relevant info from wiggs into here so we can continue the (valid) discussion, but can't quote the pages. Perhaps the mods can do something....?

Maybe the thread should/could be just unlocked once the offending posts had been replaced with

'Content Moderated because........'

Then we would all be clear who 'those who know who they are' actually are Wink Thumbs Up

I couldn't agree more. Its always good to have more than one opinion or view on any subject but this was just plain vendictive multiple posting for a reason I just cant seem to understand. Those who this applies to should take a minute to think about the negative impact this could have on anybody else thinking about introducing fresh knowledge or technology to the forum. If a long standing member or members have a problem with an individual sharing their experiance on an OPEN forum then I'd suggest they should roll one trouser leg up, don an apron and give each other a dodgy hand shake eleswhere. Come on lads, lets get a grip of this or we will be back to how it was a few months ago when every other post was an argument. This kit is available to all D3 members, hobbiest or proffesional, so there really shouldn't be any gripes about people undercutting or offering different services to anyone else.

Just to add my 2p (we're building up quite a collection here Wink ), the 'this is great', 'keep up the good work' messages are just as disruptive to the flow of Wiggs' reviews as the other messages...

It's the nature of a forum. Perhaps the solution is to keep reviews in the Wiki instead of here?

We're in danger of opening up the same argument again so no more please. Let's move on and try again.
