Wanted - Black LR Side tubes or swap for side steps
As it says really, got a set of side steps, unmarked, unbashed and polished well as my D3 sits on the drive as a footpath ornament , anyway, still need something there thats less hanging out cos the SWMBO is a tad low .
I want a set of side tubes, prefer black, but silver can be considered then I will Powdercoat them. If any have a set, and want a set of steps then maybe a deal/swap

"Wouldn't it be cheaper to petition your local council to install a granite step outside the D3 on the footpath
or seriously though no black ones then get a set of bling ones powdercoated.( see Im not vindictive all of the time)

I know the tubes are as vunerable as the steps, so my theory is the stand less chance of being bashed than the steps that hang out, in theory anyway. Its just a compromise for SWMBO really as she insists or threatens never to get in it or drive it

Access mode is used, she's like royalty you know, has to have a step or something to stand on. Next she'll be asking for me to be a footman, or wear a cap.

You (your wife) can't use tubes as steps, they're round and a touch on the slippery side, she'll end up on here the first time she stands on them then she'll be doing more than threatening
Unless you're intending on covering them with grip tape The End
if SWMBO ends up using the tubes as steps then it won't be long before she has the same as you had a while ago....a broken ankle...they ain't made to be used as steps ito the vehicleTLO has left the building.......

Shooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh, its a compromise, I want nowt but agreed to tubes, and thanks for the heads up simon, will probably look at that Yachting adhesive anti slip stuff.
