Bit of a dilemma - honest opinions valued please |
|
Guys, I feel a bit self conscious asking a bunch of strangers for advice like this – but since I have been coming onto the forum over the last month or so, I’ve kinda felt it’s a place inhabited by like-minded people. Truth is I have a bit of a dilemma that I really would like people’s opinion on. So, at the risk of making myself look a complete , here goes……….
Truth is, I've suspected for some time now that my missus has been cheating on me. The usual signs ... phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up.
My missus has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them."
I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi?
I once picked her mobile phone up just to see what time it was. She went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her etc etc. Anyway, I have never dared approached the subject directly with her. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.
I decided to follow her taxi in the D3. I hung back of course so she wouldn’t spot me and my heart sank when she went to this well known singles bar on the other side of town. I parked the D3 on the edge of the car park and sad git that I am I hung around til I knew it was throwing out time. Sure enough about 11.15pm she came out walking across the car park talking to some tall bloke in a suit – I panicked so much when they walked towards me I just squatted down at the side of the D3. I was lying on the deck watching under the D3 so I could get a good view of what they were doing when I noticed that the rear diff seemed to be leaking a little oil. So my dilemma is guys, should I try and fix this myself or take it back to the dealer?

Hi Blobby
Definitely back to the dealers to fix.
But before you do that, go and cut a large square out of the front room carpet and put it under the D3. You don't want oil drips on the drive.......it's not a D1
