Said goodbye to an old friend today
Promised myself I would not do it, but I watched my car drive away into the disctance with it's new owner.
Over three years of good service and the best car I've owned. Feeling a bit gutted and the wee man was in tears when I called him at his granny's to say it's away
Sold to a new forum member. I hope she serves you well James
Nothing to replace it yet, but soon, hopefully

I'll bet the new owner has never bought such a clean car
Look forward to seeing what you buy next JKP I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Funny you should mention that John. Had a look at a FFRR TDV8 in Pentland today. Very nice.
Are there still deals to be had on them or have the prices started going back skyward? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Prices are going back up according to the salesmen at Morrisons. I was in there on Thursday bropping the D3 for 1st service and they said LR only had 1400 cars in stock down from >6000 at the start of the price cuts. There is a price rise planed for 1 April as well.
So if your are thinking about one, hurry up!Renny Thomson

How easy is it to get a decent shine on Tangiers Orange?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Are you tempted Al for a G4, must admit I have spent the last couple of days persuading SWMBO to get one. Although business is good I am just not sure I could justify one though.

Know how you feel JKP,
at least you know its gone to a good home with a forum member,
Betty was loaded up and carted off to an insurance company compound for auction within the breakers trade,
needless to say the compound isn't very secure and most of my extra's have been liberated ( allegedly)
Wee lass at home cried buckets when it was explained that Daddy's car was broke, but on top of that she now has taken to calling the loaner from the dealer, " Tara's car"
Never was as attached to a vehicle before

John
Just got back from Whites in Edinburgh, EPB is all sorted and working nicely, cheers for organising that!
The car was indeed in fantastic condition and I will be doing my damndest to keep it that way. I have already covered 400 miles in it over the weekend and loved every minute, the D3 is one hell of a car
