Rejecting vehicle success |
|
Some of you may have seen my post back on the 17th of Feb asking for advice on Rejecting a vehicle. Thanks again all who replied.
I was in Rossleigh Perth today picking up my car with its new gearbox, it only took them 8 days to fix it, when the sales manager phoned me. When he found out I was in the building he came out to have a word as I waited for the rear wiper to be oiled with WD40 as it was stuck 2 cm from window. He had just been asked to order me a new replacement vehicle from Landrover and he had been allocated a priority build slot with the factory so D3/2 should be here in April.
I call that a result. One long strong letter detailing all that has gone wrong and what I wanted done about it, sent to Rossleigh, Reg Vardy, LR Biz manager and LR customer care did the trick... or was it the fact that my vehicle was so they had to agree with me.
Anyway time for a change...ordered it in Black this time.
Lets hope its more reliable than my present one.
cheers
Forgot to mention I also contacted Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance in Glasgow who loaned me the money to buy the car. I can only say how great Alastair Gray from Lloyds TSB has been. He phoned Rossleigh several times and also wrote to them basically backing my request for a replacement. If you need finance give them a call. There quote was miles better than taking LR finance and when I had problems they came out fighting. I can't recoment them enough.
