Give 10forcash a call, I'm sure he will come and service your car whilst you are seeing your grandchildren, probably in the drive outside their house 8)
He did mine the other week, 120000 mile service, did more than Land Rover specified, cleaned and adjusted the park brake, changed ALL the filters, all for a lot less than you are quoting.
Oh, and a very important point. Iain has his own official business - Off Road Essentials, his stamp in my service book, and the Land Rover check list that he provided with all the correct boxes ticked is very reassuring that I got a proper service.
Give him a go, you won't regret it.

My vote goes to Yeovil LR... I am happy to reccomend them to you..im sure you wont be unhappy at their work cost and courtesy..
The Big One here can organise it or tel them and ask for Doug in service and mention Disco3 co uk!
I had my 30K service done there earlier this month far lower than local LR dealers qoute discount on parts and was washed and cleaned!!

Having had dealings with Yeovil, thats where my business will go without doubt. Although watching posts on TFC's service he may be the way to go as the D3 gets older and needs that extra enthusiasm and keen eye to spot future probs early.

Both Iain (10forcash) and Yeovil (TheLargeOne) are equally recommended.
I preferred the option of a personal one to one vehicle service with a true professional at my own home
The other big benefit of course was cost - local dealer (very very good mind) were too expensive this time round, and Yeovil a tad too far to go to and back in a day.
