then I need to get from the RG 174 to 3.5mm Jack for the N95s TV out. Is there an easy way to go from coax to 3.5mm jack or should I use Nokia's TV out cable and stick a female RCA connector on the coax?

I would use the female RCA at the end of the lead ..that way you can use it for other stuff if you need too G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

easiest way is to cut an RCA lead up for the screen end and use female to female adapter to connect whatever you want on the RCA end. I found even after using the correct connectors for the back of the nav screen, that in reality it's easier to just use any old connector type to the signal (centre) connector and then just connect the screening to somewhere near on the body of the unit as the connectors are fiddly and theeeeennn......???
