Privacy glass recomendations
I want to get some privacy glass fitted to my 2005 Discovery.
A quote of over £530 from the dealer seams to have a very high mark-up, as he just uses a local firm.
A few questions;
What percentage is the 'norm' for privacy glass in the rear, (excluding driver and passenger windows)? 60 %70% 80%?????
What's the legal limit for the passenger/driver windows?
Is there a tint already on the car as standard?
Does anyone know who Land Rover Milton Keynes uses for their tinting services?
Many thanks,

I have just had it installed in my 2005 D3 at cost of £400 from LR Dealer. The shade matches the factory orginal which the dealer knew which one. I think but not sure was 35%.
Tip is to make sure glass is spotless first as any marks will show.SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

I used Pentagon too and they were very efficient (well in Bristol branch they were). I was also reassured to know that another customer had trusted Pentagon to tint his Bugatti Veyron windows so felt comfortable that my humble Disco was in good hands.

And i would guess that at that price, once you have fitted them, everyone else will know you are as well I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Wow tint is expensive in the UK!
I had my entire LR3 (D3, whatever!) tinted here in the USA for $200 (that's probably like 95 pounds or whatever!) They put as dark as I wanted. I went 35% in the front and 15% in all the rear, which basically looks like limo tint (I could have done limo but didn't want to.) It looks perfect, and really enhances the look of the vehicle.

Well the film is going to be a very small part of the cost getting it done, your paying for labour & mark up on the film!Range Rover Sport Estate 2.0 P400e Hse Dynamic Black

You may want to try 90BHP, he has someone who does tinting and security glass tinting too.
