Cool box and the story of the frozen pinta!!!
After walking the hounds this merry morn, put the jetboil ok for a cuppa. Got the water boiled, dunked the tea bag & went to pour in the requesit amount of milk when realized the milk was completely frozen!!!
Bought the milk yesterday & put it in the cubby box cooler, 1st use after aquiring the car, switched it on & continued journey. Got back and forgot about the milk over night & didn't switch off cooler, was well above freezing (8c) and don't think cooler shut down! ISTR there as a thead on cooler faults but can't find it.
Is this behaviour normal??? Can't imaging cooler is much use if it freezes stuff, would also worry about starting car if cooler was running for several days between uses. The light switch is blue, ISTR that makes a difference. Anyone found similar??

Thought that, going into stealer in week or so for squeeky rear right wheel, will add this as warranty is about to die. I assume it is not meant to freeze things.

I leave my cool box on all the time but recently I have noticed that when I unlock the car in the morning it is on. I don't know if it's been on all night or not. Is it supposed to come on when you unlock the car or when you start the engine?Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it
It should stay on and only turn off if the battery drops below a certain level.
But I didn't think it was powerful enough to freeze anything.Have a nice day!

Green or Purple ?
The Purple option is the cooler one In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
But that doesn't explain how it froze something. I thought it wasn't a proper fridge, just a cooler. Have a nice day!

Blue switch light, ISTR that the blue switch ones had problems and were relplaced with green switch ones that did not cool as much. Added to stealer "Fix it please" list.
TBH, I never used the fridge so wouldn't have noticed. Now wondering if this was the reason my battery went south and got replaced The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
