After three trouble free years, my D3 has departed to its new owner today
Within mintes of losing sight of it, I've lost my permagrin and feel genuinely saddened. This is most likely due to the fact that the replacement has yet to arrive and I could be waiting another week.
I've had a Disco in my drive for thirteen years now and it's an odd sense of loss. I feel a book title coming-on......
JMC - The Wilderness Week!
Anyone passing my door in the next seven days is welcome to park-up their D3 and stop for a free coffee The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

A very sad day indeed!!
And you've got a week to wait
Felt totally lost when mine was in dealer for over a week in the new year period.
To side glance out of the window [as I subconciously did], to see it wasn't there ...
..a horrible feeling....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Tiz only two weeks since I 'lost' mine - even though I had the new one ready and waiting (see avatar) it was still a blow to find the first one had 'gone' whilst I wasn't looking - like the passing away of an old friend without being able to say goodbye Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Dear Me, I got tears in me eyes reading this.
The question is where do we go from here.
What happens in years to come if the replacement for the disco is not as good, or if it stops being produced altogether.
I can see a mass suicide taking place in a few years down the line. No disco, no point carrying on
BYE BYE CRUEL DISCOLESS WORLD I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!
5 days now without my Ruby and a whole weekend now without her as well. And I have to drive a Volvo car loaner...

Mods please move this to "My Discovery" section!!!
JMC she has found a good home, she had a good drive to her new gaff via Cairn O Mount, Strathdon & tomintoul. Sorry to say rear tint has already been removed as couldn't see Mrs DSL following. She's all ready for her dog mobile duties from tomorrow morning, as long as hounds aren't as krook as today! Mrs DSL says the colour is growing on her
You'll have your new wheels soon and will feel on top of the world again.

I sincerely trust you are a happy man? Once JKP has done his stuff I reckon Mrs DSL will love it.
Glad to hear you are home safe and now anxiously waiting to hear if it's better than the blackbuckingham dirtier one???The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Sad day and a happy day.
I don't fall for all this love for a car pish. At the end of the day it's a lump of metal, wires, glass and just for DG...rubber Albeit a very good bit of metal, wires and glass
Crack open a bottle of red or two and fire up youtube clips tonight
Looking forward to seeing the new machine mate
Another debate would be to now get a real world comparison for Torq tune and Turbochip....for someone who now has both

If Mrs DSL is now the proud owner of JMC's D3, does this mean that Honda Dog makes way to Disco Dog?
