Terrain Response Montage. V Funny
Yesterday we decided to try out a little tongue in cheek experiment.
We tried 3 of the terrain response settings on the D3 as you will see from the video the conditions were ice and snow.
The track had been driven a few times so the snow was compacted and very slippy.
1st Grass Gravel and Snow
The car took off OK on the flat but was unable to proceed on the steeper slope when forward motion was lost
2.05 1st
2.07 2nd
2.09 3rd
2.12 4th
2.15 Take Off watch the stones fly
2nd Sand
We are doing about 36mph (according to the speedo perhaps 25mph actual) when Carl asks how fast are we going? Just after this Poor Steve gets into a bit of a wobble
The car pulled off with a little difficulty on the steeper incline
3rd Rock Crawl
No issues. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

It's the bit where Steve gets up and hobbles back to the car that gets me The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Sand is cracking 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Absolute Classic LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
