42.3 MPG !
I couldn't beleive it, so took a pic with the mobile.
It was at 43.8 just before, but I couldn't snap it quick enough. Dropped back to mid 30's just after..

I hadn't reset whilst moving. I reset in the petrol station. When I pulled away, it did its usual starting at 16.9mpg bit, then moved up, and up, and up, and it was about 5miles after filling that it got to this.
Cliff - I didnt see anybody pushing, but who knows

Going down the on ramp onto the motorway I reset and saw it go to 68 mpg before it settled to around 30 for the long run.

I haven't reset mine in about 600 miles and at present it is on 27.4mpg which isn't too bad considering I do a 50 mile round commute every day, 20 miles of that being 2nd/3rd gear work. On the motorway I do 80-90 mph, so overall I'm happy with that figure! 2006 TDV6 SE

38 mpg slipstreaming lorries at 50 - 60 mph on M25/ M4 for 30 miles the other day, just to see what could be achieved.
Once I started it became a challenge to keep the figure up but it took a lot of concentration to keep a light touch on the accelerator.
Dropping out of the slipstream and moving up to 70 dropped it down to 32-34 after a reset.

What the computer says and what you actually achieve are two very different things......it isn't a very accurate system...........
