3 Year Service in Cheshire, any suggestions? |
|
Hello all,
My D3 is due it's 3 years service at the end of the month (an A service I believe). I was going to ring round and get some comparative quotes. I'm in Chester, so anywhere in a 30 mile radius would be ok (such as north wales, wirral, manchester) Does anyone have any recommendations for this area? Keeping the warranty intact is important, but I'm also not just after the cheapest, just a fair price from a trustworthy place.
My service book is also stamped for a Brake fluid change for both it's earlier services, will this be needed again after a year? Not looking to compromise safety, but interested in opinions?
Cheers
Steve

Thanks Adam,
I'll certainly give them a call. I've heard a few good things about Williams.
Cheers

I'd be happy to use a good independent, Prior to my D3 I had a Disco 2 for a number of years which I had serviced at a couple of local places (Landranger was one). I'm not sure of the expertise of local independents on the D3, but I'd be interested in anyones recommendations.
I don't think my car has any major problems, but with it coming up to it's first MOT I'm keen to keep the warranty intact.

Have used Guy Salmon in Knutsford for first 3 services , always found they did a good job and price matched when pushed. 4th service just been carried out by JD Automotive in Northwich a inde Land Rover and Range Rover specialist who did a first class job. The owner was in on the Disco3 development and has a pre production model that he has tricked up oh and he was £200 cheaper than a main dealer and he knows more about the car. Strange about the brake fluid changes as this is time not mileage related... should be every 3 years
I can carry out a service at your location on any day of the week which suits
PM me for details

don't know if Congleton is to far for you, look up LRC (Landrover conversions) they are an independent and as far as I know only use gen LR parts, not the cheapest but good 110 XS Utility
